MAYA

Maya ¨is all contrasts¨ pet. Maya seems to have inherited many genes of her Mum Lilith. She has even exceeded in some aspects her mother's main traits. Maya is not a conventional cat, she is a mix of something outstandingly wild and something outstandingly sweet, a combination of two opposites that are difficult to carry or live by. Her genes have told her at some point to go live in the woods. All by her-self for long periods and no matter the weather.

Obviously she hunts and eats her prays therefore she managed to live like this for nearly two years. Only returning to fill her body with extra vitamins and rest. Her exact whereabouts were empty of people and other cats. Most probably the reason she left. Maya hardly ever came injured. She managed to avoid trouble makers. Maybe, just like her furr, just like her shape, her character is the mix of two. Because somewhere inside her, Maya would rather never have left the nest.

She was so mum all the time. Building coves in the blankets in the first months of her life. Then switching to Ibiza's warm belly where she found all the comfort she needed. So Maya is that absolutely soft soul. Who needs cuddles to recreate the feeling of comfort and safe zone. That's when she is her other-self. Or maybe the true-self. The one that would rather never ever have faced the big wild out there. But she was born with all required skills and appearance to spend long moments amidst a heavy camouflage of bushy trees.
